In preparation for their IB History Paper 3 examination, Mr. Ley’s seniors explored the global impact of the Cold War by examining how it influenced the major superpowers—the United States and the USSR—as well as Latin America and Canada. Students created brochures and comparison charts highlighting each region's political, economic, and social impacts. This hands-on research was a meaningful and comprehensive review ahead of their IB assessments. #PanthersRISE

What a proud and unforgettable moment we had on Friday! We were honored to celebrate the accomplishments of 19 incredible graduates from the Class of 2025 alongside their families. Their hard work, perseverance, and joyful spirits lit up the ceremony—and our hearts.
Congratulations, graduates! Your Ridgeview family is so proud of you! #PanthersRISE

As part of their unit on Nutrition, students in Medical Skills and Health Science Foundations explored the world’s Blue Zones—regions where people live remarkably long, healthy lives. Each student selected one Blue Zone to research in depth, analyzing traditional foods, key ingredients, portion sizes, and nutritional benefits. They compared these dietary habits to the average American diet and examined the impact on health and longevity. To deepen their learning, many students prepared authentic dishes using traditional methods and provided nutritional breakdowns and photos of their creations. Their findings were presented in visual displays that included charts, food comparisons, images of local landscapes and culture, and an overview of the lifestyle practices contributing to the region’s exceptional health outcomes. #PanthersRISE

During our block schedule, Ms. Wilson’s Theatre 1 students performed their final projects for Mrs. McDade’s Theatre Honors class. After studying technical and children’s theatre, each group created an original play inspired by a children’s TV show, book, or movie. With student directors and designers leading the way, the casts brought their stories to life through creative staging and performance. The students did a fantastic job showcasing their learning and theatrical talent! #PanthersRISE

During the last week of April, our theatre students brought the drama in the best way possible! To celebrate Thespian Week, students showed off their creativity and spirit with themed dress-up days that filled the halls with fun, flair, and theatrical energy. From costumes to character-inspired outfits, it was a week of laughter, expression, and bonding for our outstanding performers. The celebration ended on a high note with our Thespian Induction Ceremony, where we proudly welcomed our newest members into the International Thespian Society! #PanthersRISE

Students in Honors Chemistry recently completed a titration experiment to determine the unknown concentration of hydrochloric acid. Titration is a laboratory technique that identifies the concentration of an unknown solution (the analyte) by gradually adding a solution of known concentration (the titrant) until the reaction reaches its equivalence point. In this lab, students used a known concentration of sodium hydroxide as the titrant and phenolphthalein as the indicator to visually signal when the reaction was complete. By measuring the volume of titrant used to reach the equivalence point, students could calculate the concentration of the analyte, applying key chemistry concepts through hands-on learning. #PanthersRISE

On Saturday, May 3rd, our incredible Culinary Arts students showcased their talent and professionalism as they catered the annual Take Stock in Children Celebration! These students handled it all from food prep to presentation with skill, pride, and Panther-level excellence.
A huge shoutout to Ms. LaPierre for her leadership, guidance, and dedication in preparing our students for real-world culinary experiences like this. We are so proud of our Panthers for representing Ridgeview with such class and flavor! #PanthersRISE

Ms. McDade’s General Theatre students brought a classic tale to life with creativity, teamwork, and a lot of personality in their puppet rendition of "Three Billy Goats Gruff." From handcrafting their sock puppets to designing the set and delivering a performance full of character and charm, these students wowed their classmates, teachers, and special guests—including Principal Murphy, AP Stoltzfus, and Deputy Toblin! It was a fantastic showcase of storytelling, artistic design, and performance skills. We’re so proud of their hard work and the joy they brought to the stage! #PanthersRISE

Congratulations to Jack Buchholz, who was selected as a recipient of the 2025 Waste Management Scholarship. Jack was awarded $6,000 to support his continuing education and had the opportunity to meet Greg Huntington, former NFL player and current Senior Account Executive with WM. Huntington personally congratulated Jack and presented him with a signed photo and an inspiring message about the power of hard work. Jack’s accomplishment stands as a testament to his dedication and determination.
We are so proud of you, Jack, and can’t wait to see all the great things you will accomplish next! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Fortner’s Anatomy students recently completed a two-day sheep heart dissection that brought their study of the circulatory system to life. On the first day, they labeled the heart’s external anatomy and used food coloring to trace the blood vessels. On the second day, they opened the heart to examine and label its internal structures, observing the oxygenated and deoxygenated sides based on where the dye was injected. This hands-on lab allowed students to apply their knowledge of heart anatomy and the pathway blood takes through the cardiovascular system in an engaging, real-world context. #PanthersRISE

On May 2nd, the energy was high and the smiles were nonstop as Ridgeview hosted our annual Panther Spirit Club Field Day! From friendly competition to all-out fun, our students, teachers, and staff had a blast participating in various games and activities that brought out the best of our Panther pride. Whether racing, tossing, or cheering on their teammates, everyone showed what it means to work hard, laugh loud, and support each other like family. #PanthersRISE

We are incredibly proud to announce that our NJROTC unit has been awarded the prestigious “Distinguished Unit with Academic Honors” for the 2024–2025 school year! This recognition reflects our cadets' and instructors' dedication, discipline, and academic excellence. Earning this honor means our program ranks among the top NJROTC units nationwide—a testament to the leadership, teamwork, and Panther pride defining Ridgeview.
Bravo Zulu to our NJROTC family!

Thanks to the hard work of our NJROTC 3rd Platoon and the dedication of Ms. Ryan, our Military Student Garden is once again a beautiful and meaningful space on campus. After being accidentally mowed down by the lawn service, Ms. Ryan stepped up to lead the restoration effort, working to re-envision the area and even securing generous plant donations and mulch to bring it back to life. Our cadets did an outstanding job replanting the space, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort and teamwork. This garden is a quiet tribute to our military-connected students and families—a place of reflection, honor, and school pride. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! 💙

A few weeks ago, our incredible Chorus Seniors took the stage for Senior Solo Night, an evening filled with music, emotion, and unforgettable moments. From heartfelt solos to powerful duets and dynamic group numbers, each performance showcased their talent, growth, passion, and love for music. It was a beautiful way for these seniors to shine before their families, friends, and biggest supporters. We are so proud of each of them and the harmony they've brought to Ridgeview. Their voices will be missed, but their music will echo on. #PanthersRISE
