While many students were enjoying spring break, a hardworking group of Panthers spent part of theirs helping to refresh our front office hallways with a fresh coat of paint! These students were selected to participate in this project and did a fantastic job bringing new life and color to our campus. Their efforts made a noticeable difference, and we appreciate the time and energy they put into making Ridgeview look its best. Great job, Panthers! #PanthersRISE

Before Spring Break, our juniors and seniors had the opportunity to hear a powerful, life-changing message from speaker Kevin Brooks. His impactful presentation focused on the dangers of risky driving behaviors and the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel. The event, funded by FDOT, was part of a statewide effort to reduce teen traffic crashes—the leading cause of preventable injuries and fatalities among teens. Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your story and inspiring our students to drive smart and stay safe. #PanthersRISE

We are so proud to showcase the incredible talent coming out of Mr. Nesi’s art classes here at Ridgeview High School! Students recently completed a mask-making project inspired by their research into animal symbolism across cultures. They brought their creative visions to life using materials like plaster gauze, cardboard, and paint, crafting everything from bold parrots to mythical creatures. The process was hands-on, detailed, and full of learning, and the final masks are nothing short of spectacular. Each piece reflects the individuality, imagination, and dedication of its creator. Huge shoutout to Mr. Nesi for guiding our Panthers through such a meaningful and inspiring artistic journey! #PanthersRISE

On March 13th, in honor of World Kidney Day, Ridgeview High’s National Honor Society students raised awareness about kidney disease by educating their peers on various kidney conditions and the importance of maintaining kidney health. As part of their project, they also distributed awareness bracelets to help spark meaningful conversations and promote understanding within the school community. Way to go, NHS Panthers, for leading with purpose and making a positive impact! #PanthersRISE

Sweet Science, Part 2: Students Take the Lead! After practicing with pre-selected traits in their first candy cladogram, Biology students leveled up! In the next round, they chose their characteristics to sort and classify the candies into unique “taxa.” This student-led twist challenged their critical thinking and deepened their understanding of evolutionary relationships—plus, it was pretty sweet! #PanthersRISE

Forensic Science students put their investigative skills to the test during the Algor Mortis Lab! Using hot dogs as stand-ins for deceased bodies; they measured how body temperature drops over time. After testing a “bare” hot dog, students repeated the experiment with “Mr. Frankie” wrapped in felt to simulate a clothed body. They recorded, graphed, and compared the data, learning how much clothing can impact heat loss. #PanthersRISE
