While many students were enjoying spring break, a hardworking group of Panthers spent part of theirs helping to refresh our front office hallways with a fresh coat of paint! These students were selected to participate in this project and did a fantastic job bringing new life and color to our campus. Their efforts made a noticeable difference, and we appreciate the time and energy they put into making Ridgeview look its best.
Great job, Panthers! #PanthersRISE

We’re so proud of our incredible Panthers, who are representing Ridgeview High at the State Science Fair this week! Your curiosity, hard work, and innovation have already made us proud.
Please join us in wishing them the best as they showcase their research and represent our school statewide. #PanthersRISE 🐾💙

Before Spring Break, our juniors and seniors had the opportunity to hear a powerful, life-changing message from speaker Kevin Brooks. His impactful presentation focused on the dangers of risky driving behaviors and the importance of making safe choices behind the wheel. The event, funded by FDOT, was part of a statewide effort to reduce teen traffic crashes—the leading cause of preventable injuries and fatalities among teens.
Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your story and inspiring our students to drive smart and stay safe. #PanthersRISE

We are so proud to showcase the incredible talent coming out of Mr. Nesi’s art classes here at Ridgeview High School! Students recently completed a mask-making project inspired by their research into animal symbolism across cultures. They brought their creative visions to life using materials like plaster gauze, cardboard, and paint, crafting everything from bold parrots to mythical creatures. The process was hands-on, detailed, and full of learning, and the final masks are nothing short of spectacular. Each piece reflects the individuality, imagination, and dedication of its creator.
Huge shoutout to Mr. Nesi for guiding our Panthers through such a meaningful and inspiring artistic journey! #PanthersRISE

On March 13th, in honor of World Kidney Day, Ridgeview High’s National Honor Society students raised awareness about kidney disease by educating their peers on various kidney conditions and the importance of maintaining kidney health. As part of their project, they also distributed awareness bracelets to help spark meaningful conversations and promote understanding within the school community.
Way to go, NHS Panthers, for leading with purpose and making a positive impact! #PanthersRISE

Sweet Science, Part 2: Students Take the Lead!
After practicing with pre-selected traits in their first candy cladogram, Biology students leveled up! In the next round, they chose their characteristics to sort and classify the candies into unique “taxa.” This student-led twist challenged their critical thinking and deepened their understanding of evolutionary relationships—plus, it was pretty sweet! #PanthersRISE

Forensic Science students put their investigative skills to the test during the Algor Mortis Lab! Using hot dogs as stand-ins for deceased bodies; they measured how body temperature drops over time. After testing a “bare” hot dog, students repeated the experiment with “Mr. Frankie” wrapped in felt to simulate a clothed body. They recorded, graphed, and compared the data, learning how much clothing can impact heat loss. #PanthersRISE

Ms. Yancey’s students recently wrapped up their unit on Ancient Greece, Alexander the Great, and the Roman Republic. Since these civilizations were known for their conquests, students channeled their inner warriors by creating helmets and shields! A paper-wad battle may be on the horizon, but for now—here’s a sneak peek of a few students geared up and ready for action. #PanthersRISE

Before the break, Ms. Foley's biology students dove into evolutionary relationships by sharing their cladogram answers during a pre-lab discussion. The next day, they put their knowledge to the test with a sweet twist—creating candy cladograms! #PanthersRISE

With only 50 yearbooks left, we will sell out! Order before April 11th to ensure you have one. Just like spring flowers, high school memories will fade.

Angel and Prisha, representing the National Honor Society, took a special trip to Isle Health and Rehab Center to distribute all the beautiful flowers and heartfelt cards created for this project! Thanks to their efforts, they shared joy with all 105 permanent residents and temporary patients at the facility. From warm smiles to meaningful conversations, this visit was a reminder of the power of small acts of kindness. Thank you to the National Honor Society and everyone who helped make this possible!
What is White Day? Celebrated on March 14th, White Day is a holiday observed in several countries where people give back by sharing small gifts and acts of kindness. It’s a time to express gratitude, friendship, and care—exactly what this project was about! #PanthersRISE
