At last night’s All-County Theatre performance, three of our Ridgeview students were awarded scholarships to St. Johns River State College, an incredible honor and testament to their talent and dedication. Please join me in congratulating:

⭐ Taylor Thompson for Acting (Ms. Wilson accepted on her behalf last night)
⭐ Chloe Burrell for Technical Theatre
⭐ Madison McLevy for Stage Management

What makes this achievement even more remarkable? Only three scholarships were awarded last night, and every single one went to a Ridgeview student. We are beyond proud of Taylor, Chloe, and Madison and cannot wait to see where their passion for theatre takes them next! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Pena’s Spanish 3 IB/AICE students were deeply engaged in rigorous language learning as they built proficiency and confidence in Spanish through meaningful, real-world application. Using their workbooks and digital tools, students expanded academic vocabulary related to the environment and recycling while practicing subjunctive forms and expressions of certainty through writing, conversation, and collaborative work. The students compared responses with peers, strengthened grammar skills, and applied their learning in context, meeting the high expectations of IB and AICE coursework while developing strong communication skills in Spanish. #PanthersRISE

When Florida Decides to Be Actually Cold

It is literally freezing outside at Ridgeview today! What started as a tiny water drop has slowly grown throughout the morning into this little icicle, quietly reminding us that winter has arrived and means business.

A big thank you to Ms. Ryan for capturing this cool Ridgeview moment! Stay warm, Panthers! We don’t see this very often in Florida! 🐾

2026 Clay All County Chorus: A Night of Harmony 🎶

A massive BRAVO to our incredible secondary chorus members who performed tonight at the 2026 All County Secondary Chorus! Tonight was a beautiful reminder of why music matters. Our secondary students joined voices for this special concert, and the result was stunning. Whether it was the delicate harmonies of the Treble Choruses or the energy of the Mixed Chorus, these performers proved that extraordinary things happen when we work together in harmony.

We are so proud of your dedication, your voices, and the way you represented our schools.

Special Thanks To:

Heather Bice, Choral Director at Ridgeview High School, for her tireless work in organizing and putting this entire event together.

Our amazing choral directors across the county. Your incredible work with our students was reflected in every note of tonight’s performances!

Our distinguished guest conductors for their expertise and for bringing out the best in our singers.

Christopher Gugel, our Fine Arts Specialist, for his leadership and continued support of the arts in our schools.

Bravo to everyone involved in making this amazing night happen! 👏✨

Ms. Andersen’s Anatomy & Physiology students took a deep dive into the structure and function of the human eye through a cow eye dissection. Using a cow eye, whose structures closely resemble those of the human eye, students identified key anatomical features. They made real-world connections between structure and function, bringing textbook concepts to life. This kind of authentic, inquiry-based learning builds curiosity, strengthens understanding, and prepares students for future studies and careers in the medical and health sciences. #PanthersRISE
