Ms. Jolley’s students stepped into the lab ready to act like real scientists! With explicit directions right at the start and clear learning targets on the board, students knew exactly what success looked like before even touching their equipment.

Working collaboratively, students prepared their own slides using cheek swabs to identify cellular structures firsthand.

Mr. Barker’s class took on candy color predictions and calculations today! Working in small groups, students read, wrote, listened, and spoke their way through the investigation to deeply process their experimental design. #HorsePower

This exciting partnership between Clay County District Schools, Clay Education Foundation, the Florida Department of Education, and the Florida Lottery gives eligible high school students the opportunity to complete 20 or more new hours of community service and write an essay focused on civic responsibility and leadership. Upon acceptance and completion, a limited number of eligible students may earn $500 toward their educational goals.

Cut the ribbon! Middleburg High School is officially celebrating our brand-new bus loop and student parking lot.

On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, we would like to send a huge thank you to our School Board, Superintendent Broskie, Asst Super Bryce Ellis, and Director Lance Addison for supporting our growing community. Beyond keeping traffic moving, this new space gives our incredible NJROTC and Marching Band room to practice and shine. Today, our nationally recognized NJROTC drill team showed off their skills right on the new loop. Our Singing Broncos gave an inspiring rendition of the National Anthem, our Bronco Building Blocks students led the Pledge of Allegiance, and our Culinary students provided sweet treats.

This project would not have been possible without an amazing team of partners, including architect Altman & Barrett with Kyle Wilkinson, general contractor Parish McCall with President Bill Pearson, PM Craig Blansett and Site Superintendent Garrett McCranie, site subcontractor J.B. Coxwell Construction, electrical by T&M Electric of Clay County, and fencing by Charles White Fence Inc. with Jeff Marks as the project lead for CCSD.

Collaborative learning at its finest in Mr. Pearce’s Geometry class! Students tackled complex coordinate plane ratios by explaining their thinking to peers, while strong co-teaching provided timely support for every learner. 100% engagement! #HorsePower

Great modeling and accountability in Ms. Borger’s FACT College Algebra class! Direct modeling on factoring trinomials built strong confidence, while intentional cold-calling kept every student engaged during independent practice. #HorsePower

Classroom walkthrough spotlight! Dr. Matthew’s students dove into a hands-on surface tension investigation today, using pennies and various solutions to see science in action.
