Cut the ribbon! Middleburg High School is officially celebrating our brand-new bus loop and student parking lot.

On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, we would like to send a huge thank you to our School Board, Superintendent Broskie, Asst Super Bryce Ellis, and Director Lance Addison for supporting our growing community. Beyond keeping traffic moving, this new space gives our incredible NJROTC and Marching Band room to practice and shine. Today, our nationally recognized NJROTC drill team showed off their skills right on the new loop. Our Singing Broncos gave an inspiring rendition of the National Anthem, our Bronco Building Blocks students led the Pledge of Allegiance, and our Culinary students provided sweet treats.

This project would not have been possible without an amazing team of partners, including architect Altman & Barrett with Kyle Wilkinson, general contractor Parish McCall with President Bill Pearson, PM Craig Blansett and Site Superintendent Garrett McCranie, site subcontractor J.B. Coxwell Construction, electrical by T&M Electric of Clay County, and fencing by Charles White Fence Inc. with Jeff Marks as the project lead for CCSD.

Thank you to everyone who helped build a better campus for our Broncos! #HorsePower

Thumbs up for Coach Rix’s science class!

Students tested experimental design by completing tasks with all five fingers, then again without thumbs, to directly see how variables change outcomes. A fun, hands-on way to learn how to accurately use the scientific method! #HorsePower

Great modeling and accountability in Ms. Borger’s FACT College Algebra class! Direct modeling on factoring trinomials built strong confidence, while intentional cold-calling kept every student engaged during independent practice. #HorsePower

Classroom walkthrough spotlight! Dr. Matthew’s students dove into a hands-on surface tension investigation today, using pennies and various solutions to see science in action.

By testing their predictions with the scientific method, students got a concrete, sensory look at how polarity and hydrogen bonding work. Clear learning targets, active collaboration, and evidence-based learning made for a winning combination! #HorsePower

Today in 11th Grade U.S. History, students stepped into the role of historians to investigate how the American West transformed between 1870 and 1890. Students examined the impact of railroads, cattle, buffalo, and settlers, then used the evidence to draw what they believed the West looked like in 1870, 1880, and 1890. The challenge? Decide which change had the greatest impact and defend their thinking with historical evidence. History isn't just about remembering what happened. Sometimes, you have to look at the evidence and figure it out like a historian. 🇺🇸📚 #HorsePower
