The Annual Montclair Elementary Graduation Walk for the Class of 2025 was a wonderful experience for all. Twenty one Montclair graduates returned for this joyful event. Our Montclair scholars enjoyed seeing their goal of graduating high school walking through our halls. Thank you to the Class of 2025 for inspiring our future generation.
Mrs. Zachary's Orange Park High School Spanish class visited our kindergarten classrooms for this past week's Cinco de Mayo. Scholars from her class and the Spanish Honors Society delivered a homemade pinata to every scholar. They discussed the history of Cinco de Mayo and pinatas. they taught our scholars some Spanish words and all had a wonderful time together. Thank you Mrs. Zachary and your scholars for this wonderful cultural experience.

Montclair Graduation Walk
We are announcing our 2nd Annual T-shirt Contest during the final month of the school year for the lead up to our 50th Anniversary to begin the 2027-28 school year.. This t-shirt will be the theme for year two of this project to represent our schools expectations from the Be Board - Be Respectful, Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Responsible. This connects our Certified Schoolyard Habitat project with our schools Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. This past year's t-shirt design winner was Emma L. for the Be Respectful Theme. Each shirt will be framed and displayed for years to come in our Front Office. The winner each year will also receive five free shirts for their family. A paper copy of this flyer will be coming home with a template on the back for the design. Principal Miller challenges each scholar to be creative and submit their design by the last day of school. The winner will be announced in August at our Meet the Teacher event to begin the 2025-26 school year.

Good news for Clay County families! Our Summer 2025 Food Service Program will provide FREE meals to ALL kids and teens 18 and under! No application is necessary—just show up and enjoy a nutritious meal. Please note that meal sites are subject to closing based on participation, so be sure to take advantage of this wonderful program! Below is a list of participating locations and dates.
Congratulations to our Montclair Elementary Chorus for three amazing performances of Matilda Jr. The Musical. We are grateful for Mrs. Rowes leadership and being an amazing music instructor! Our Montclair Family shines bright!
Matilda Jr. The Musical will be performed one more time on Friday night. The door opens at 5:30 P.M. with a $2.00 suggested donation. All proceeds will grow the Montclair Elementary music program. Our amazing chorus will inspire the Montclair Family at 6:00 P.M.
Our amazing chorus led by Mrs. Rowe delivered an amazing performance tonight. Matilda Jr. The Musical will be well remembered by all as we truly enjoyed seeing our scholars display their talents. Our scholars and our school are an amazing community together. They will perform for our kindergarten through third grade scholars tomorrow in the cafeteria beginning at 9:00 A.M. The final performance will be Friday night at 6:00 P.M. The door opens at 5:30 with a suggested donation of $2.00 for our music program. We look forward to seeing our Montclair Family tomorrow night!

Meet a few more of our scholars who will be taking the stage in the MCE Chorus’s production of Matilda JR.! We hope to see you tomorrow, Thursday, 5/1 and Friday, 5/2 at 6:00 PM in the MCE Cafetorium. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and admission is a $2.00 suggested donation. All proceeds go towards the MCE Music Program. Our scholars have worked very hard and we are so excited for this spectacular performance.
Mrs. Williams kindergarten class explored science today by making predictions. They discovered that ants like Cheetos the most along our sidewalk by the flagpole. We are making scientists at Montclair Elementary!
Our 3rd grade scholars, teachers, and parents truly enjoyed Popcorn and Poetry today. Poetry enriches our lives through creative literacy. Read on Montclair scholars!
Our PBS classrooms and staff enjoyed some outdoor games for our K-2nd scholars, facilitated by our 3rd-6th scholars. We then followed up with an all inclusive hotdog lunch with cupcakes/cookies and all the fixings, YUM!
