It’s Fire Prevention Week, and this year’s theme is all about safe charging! As technology plays a big role in our everyday lives, we are reminding our OneClay community that safe charging is a superpower.
🔌 Plug in. Power up. Stay safe.
To keep our homes and schools safe, make sure you are using your 6 Charging Superpowers:
• Cheap charger? Don't chance it. Use the cord and charger that came with your device or one approved by the manufacturer.
• Soft surface? Hard pass. Charge on a hard, flat surface like a table, desk, or bare floor.
• Fully charged? Time to unplug. Unplug your device when it is fully charged.
• For tools and rides, charge outside. Charge large items like e-bikes, scooters, and power tools outside when possible, and never block exits when charging.
• Feels hot? Stop using it. Stop using your device if it feels very hot, starts to swell, smells strange, leaks, smokes, or makes popping or hissing sounds.
• On a flight? Keep it in sight. Keep devices where you can see them while charging on an airplane, and tell a flight attendant if you notice a problem.

The First Coast Parkinson's Run! We are throwing the ultimate community event. We are bringing together the energy of the Florida-Georgia football rivalry, the spooky fun of Halloween, and our incredible 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run into one massive weekend celebration all to raise awareness and support for local Parkinson's support groups and organizations.
BUT WE NEED LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS!

You’ve stood by us before, and you know how powerful this community is when we run as one. Every volunteer, registration, every team formed, and every dollar raised impacts the fight against Parkinson's disease. All proceeds will go directly to local support groups and organizations.

For the 19th year in a row, Operation Homefront is celebrating the incredible resilience, strength, and leadership of our military youth through the Military Child of the Year® Awards—and we need your help to find this year's recipients!
Military life brings unique challenges—from frequent moves to long deployments—yet military kids handle it all with astounding grace and courage. If you know an outstanding military youth between the ages of 13 and 18, now is your chance to share their story.
🎁 What Do Recipients Receive?
There will be 7 recipients selected (one representing each branch of service). Each recipient will receive:
$10,000 CASH 💰
A new laptop computer 💻
A package of donated gifts and goodies 🎁
An all-expenses-paid 3-day trip to Washington, D.C. for the recipient and their family! 🏛️✈️
