🎉 RECOGNITION RECAP | At last night’s September School Board Meeting, the board was proud to host Fleming Island High School for the Student Showcase!
We enjoyed a musical performance by student representatives from Fleming Island Voices and were inspired by the creativity of students enrolled in FIHS’s 2-D and 3-D art programs.

Mr. Merritt was selected as our Staff Member of the Month and recognized by both our school and the Farm Bureau Insurance Company who has partnered with us in recognizing an outstanding staff member each month! His passion and innovation (as well as his costumes) are engaging and inspiring to all those around him (including to the parents in the parking lot each morning as he helps direct traffic)! Just a reminder that our end of the year state assessments and end of course exams for US History, English, Algebra, and Geometry will be administered next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday using a block schedule. Only Biology students will test on Wednesday, which is a regular bell schedule. Please be sure your student is rested, prepared, and on time during these assessment dates. Classes that are not testing, will continue regular instruction, so ALL students are expected to be present in ALL classes, ALL day during these dates whether they have testing that day or not. Please avoid early check outs for students during this testing window as we want to maximize instruction and minimize disruptions
