Several of our RHS AICE Cambridge and IB students recently visited Florida Polytechnic University for an engaging STEM Day Tour! Students learned about the university, explored its academic programs, and participated in hands-on STEM activities that brought science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to life. This opportunity gave our students a glimpse into future career pathways while reinforcing the innovative, real-world learning that defines their programs.
Additionally, FL Polytechnic recognized five of our seniors who have already been accepted to attend there if they choose to do so! We are proud of our Panthers for representing Ridgeview so well! #PanthersRISE

Before the Thanksgiving break, Ms. Wilson’s Technical Theatre 1 students took a deep dive into the world of set design. Working in pairs, they followed the professional formula, starting with research and mood boards, to bring a Thanksgiving-themed prompt to life! The final result? These incredible mini models. We are so impressed by their attention to detail and design skills. Way to go, designers! #PanthersRISE

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day serves as a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom.
Clay County District Schools joins the nation in honoring the memory of those who perished at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and recognizing the strength of the generation that followed.
We teach our students the importance of remembering history and respecting the sacrifice of our veterans.

Our Early Childhood Education program sent home a creative project inviting our Little Paws and their families to work together to “Disguise a Turkey,” and the results were fantastic! Families used their imaginations to transform each turkey into superheroes, princesses, animals, and so much more. Students proudly returned their creations, and our ECE students then showcased them in this adorable hallway display. We love seeing the creativity, collaboration, and family involvement that make early learning so meaningful for our Little Panthers! #PanthersRISE

In November, our National Technical Honor Society honored returning members with their 2nd-, 3rd-, and 4th-year pins and proudly inducted 22 new members. We are so proud of these Panthers for their dedication to academic excellence and career & technical education. #PanthersRISE

In November, our Little Paws enjoyed a fun-filled field trip to Amazing Grace Family Farms! From exploring the cornfield and interacting with farm animals to jumping, playing, and discovering new textures, our youngest Panthers had an unforgettable day of hands-on learning and fall adventures. We love seeing their smiles, curiosity, and joy as they experience the world beyond the classroom! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Colón's Health Science Foundations students recently completed an in-depth unit on effective patient-healthcare professional communication, focusing on giving/receiving clear instructions and recognizing common barriers. To apply these concepts, students engaged in a hands-on lab in which they alternated between the roles of a visually impaired patient (wearing blackout goggles) and a CNA, guiding the "patient" through an obstacle course. This immersive experience highlighted the critical value of clear, concise communication from both perspectives, fostering more profound empathy by allowing students to step into the patient's role for a moment, and concluded with a debriefing session to share their insights. #PanthersRISE

Ms. Cannarella’s students recently enjoyed a wonderful field trip where learning truly met fun. Their adventure began at The Grove Shack, where a hayride was already waiting for them. Students took an educational tour around the farm, planted basil, and decorated cookies for a sweet treat. Each student then became a chef, cooking their own lunch and proudly creating delicious meals. After thanking their hosts, the group headed to one more special surprise: a visit to Mrs. Cannarella’s farm. Students spent time with the animals, with a horse named Trout quickly becoming the clear favorite for his gentle and affectionate nature.
The class extends a heartfelt thank-you to The Grove Shack and to Mrs. Cannarella for providing such meaningful, hands-on experiences. It was a memorable day filled with exploration, laughter, and moments the students will truly treasure! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Generazio’s Art 2 students have been exploring Aboriginal art techniques through vibrant leaf paintings that celebrate pattern, color, and texture. Using dot painting, layered backgrounds, and bold contrasting colors, students experimented with how rhythm, repetition, and color relationships can transform a simple leaf into a dynamic work of art.
These pieces show incredible attention to detail and creativity, beautiful examples of how our Panthers grow as artists by studying global art styles and applying them in meaningful, modern ways.
So proud of their stunning work! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Holt’s reading students delved into an SAT-style lesson focused on analyzing tone and the author’s craft. Students took turns reading aloud by paragraph, stopping after each section to write the gist in the margins, strengthening comprehension and building a helpful review tool for SAT practice. After reading, they selected answers to evidence-based questions and justified their choices with direct textual support. #PanthersRISE
