Friday night's NJROTC Dining Out was a wonderful evening filled with recognition, tradition, and celebration. Cadets were honored for their hard work and accomplishments through awards and promotions while also enjoying time with friends, family, and our NJROTC community. Events like this highlight the leadership, discipline, and camaraderie that make our program so special. We are proud of our cadets and all they continue to achieve. #PanthersRISE

Thank you to Kirbyco Builders for partnering with us to provide our carpentry students with an outstanding, hands-on learning experience! Kirbyco Builders worked directly with students to demonstrate how to frame metal walls used in commercial construction, guiding them step-by-step through measuring, assembling, and securing metal studs while using industry tools and techniques. Students also had the opportunity to observe and participate in cutting materials safely, learn proper procedures, and gain a deeper understanding of job site expectations, equipment, and safety practices.

We are incredibly grateful for Kirbyco Builders’ continued support as a valued business partner and for helping bring real-world learning to life for our students. #PanthersRISE

We are incredibly proud of our Yearbook students and their sponsor, Ms. Crews, for their diligent work in creating another fantastic yearbook for Ridgeview High School. What many people see as a finished book is actually the result of a yearlong process filled with planning, creativity, teamwork, and dedication. From the first day of school, students work to capture the moments that make each year special by attending events, taking photos, conducting interviews, writing stories, designing layouts, meeting deadlines, and carefully reviewing every detail. Each page reflects the memories, accomplishments, and spirit of our students, staff, and school community.

Thank you to Ms. Crews for her leadership and guidance, and to our Yearbook staff for preserving the story of this school year in such a meaningful way. #PanthersRISE

Our Health Science and HOSA students had a fantastic visit to the University of North Florida today. Faculty from the Brooks College of Health introduced students to the many degree programs available and shared valuable insight into careers in the healthcare field. Students also participated in a question-and-answer session with professors and senior nursing students, giving them a firsthand look at college life, coursework, and future opportunities.

After the presentation, students enjoyed a guided walking tour of campus followed by lunch at the Osprey Café. The group then traveled to the MedNexus Simulation Lab at Deerwood, where they explored high-fidelity mannequins used in medical training and practiced skills such as performing CPR, placing an NG tube, checking a pulse, and other hands-on activities.

It was an incredible experience that allowed students to see the pathways and possibilities waiting for them after high school. #PanthersRISE

Recently, our Culinary students worked hard to prepare an incredible meal for the Clay Can Dance event. Students pounded out 250 pieces of chicken, and Mrs. Stevens’ 3rd-period class was a tremendous help during the preparation, while many students were away at Grad Bash. The menu featured rolled chicken stuffed with spinach and Boursin cheese, Caprese skewers, salad, green beans, meatballs, bruschetta, molded butter, and mashed potatoes. A special thank you goes to Angelica, Mariah, and Sidney, who came in that Saturday to help finish the meal and prepare the mashed potatoes for pick up.

We are proud of the teamwork, dedication, and talent our students demonstrated, and we are so glad the guests enjoyed the meal. #PanthersRISE

Last week, our IB Juniors presented their Theory of Knowledge Exhibition projects to peers and teachers, demonstrating thoughtful inquiry and meaningful reflection. These presentations gave students the opportunity to explore how knowledge manifests tangibly in objects around them and to examine the material practices and processes that enable us to make knowledge claims.

Students also considered the real-world consequences of applying knowledge and reflected on how knowing involves more than just intellect. Through their projects, they showed that knowledge is connected to the objects, materials, concepts, and ideas that shape our world. We are proud of the depth of thinking, confidence, and creativity our students displayed during this impressive showcase.

#PanthersRISE

Kaden, Kie, and Antonio proudly represented Ridgeview at the HOSA State Conference recently! Kaden and Kie advanced to Round 2 in their competitive event, CPR/First Aid, and Antonio served on the Courtesy Corps. Antonio also had the exciting opportunity to meet the writer and developer of our CNA curriculum—someone well-known in the health science community. We were able to thank her for her support, as she has played a significant role in our students’ success on the CNA exam! #PanthersRISE
