Today our administrative team met with the Class of 2029 to review expectations and set goals to start the school year. These sessions are all about helping students align their daily habits with their long-term goals of being gainfully employed, enrolled in college or enlisted in the military. From college and career ambitions to personal growth, our students shared out some truly inspiring goals. It’s clear that the Class of 2029 is ready to work hard, dream big, and lead the way! #HorsePower

Ms. Hanson’s Biology students kicked off the week with a hands-on lab designed to highlight three essential lab skills: communication, collaboration, and following procedures!

The challenge? Draw a picture of a house using a single marker—except no one could touch the marker directly! Students had to work together, using ropes attached to the marker, to navigate every line and corner.

It took patience, clear directions, and plenty of teamwork, but our students proved that when we pull together, we can accomplish anything! Great job, broncos! #HorsePower

🚶‍♂️ WALK SAFE!

Heads Up, Phone Down! Stay alert and aware of your surroundings.

Use sidewalks and cross only at corners and crosswalks.

Look LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT before crossing.

Be seen!

🚲 RIDE SAFE! (Bikes, E-Bikes, & E-Scooters)

Helmet On: Wear a helmet—it’s the LAW for riders under 16!

Obey all traffic laws, stop signs, and traffic lights.

Ride with traffic, stay off your phone, and yield to walkers on the sidewalk.

E-Riders: You are fast and quiet. Drivers don't always expect you—be extra alert and slow down at intersections!

🚌 BUS SAFE!

Wait in a safe place well away from the road.

Board or cross ONLY when the driver gives you the "OK" signal.

Stay seated and keep the aisle clear.

Drivers: Please review the "School Bus Safety Rules" graphic below so you know exactly when you MUST stop!

🚗 DRIVE SAFE!

Slow down, especially in school zones.

Expect the unexpected—look twice for kids at every intersection, driveway, and crosswalk.

Give bicyclists at least 3 feet of clearance.

Put the phone away, no texting, and focus on the road.
