Our mathematicians were hard at work in Ms. Hall's class, diving deep into function facts through dynamic, small-group collaboration. Ms. Roberts’ Level 4 Early Childhood Education students put theory into practice! Half the class worked independently on portfolio tasks for their teaching certifications, while others gained hands-on experience in the preschool lab—leading calendar routines with 4-year-olds and circle-time read-alouds with 3-year-olds.

With clear expectations across both settings, transitions ran smoothly and kept every learner engaged. This real-world balance gives our future educators vital classroom management experience while supporting our youngest students! #HorsePower

On Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th, all 9th and 10th grade students will be participating in the first administration (PM1) of the Florida Assessment for Student Thinking (FAST) ELA Reading Assessment. Ms. Hanson's students brought the scientific method to life with a hands-on gummy bear lab! Students had to form hypotheses on how water would impact bear size over 24 hours, then measured, collected data, and compared their experimental sample against the control. Great work broncos! #HorsePower

Today, we bid a very special farewell to someone who truly embodies the heart and soul of Middleburg High—Mrs. Hupp!

Mrs. Hupp has dedicated 20 incredible years to our district, spending 18 of those years right here at MHS. Not only is she a proud MHS alumna, but she has also been the glue holding our school together across every office on campus! To mark her final day, she took a walk down memory lane, visiting all the roles she's mastered as a secretary over the years: Records , Guidance, ESE, Finance, Attendance, and finally, Principal's Secretary. Simply put: Mrs. Hupp can do it all!

While we will miss her presence in our hallways tremendously, we are beyond excited for her as she begins this next well-deserved chapter of her life. Thank you for your decades of service, dedication, and Bronco pride!
