On November 3, Clay County voters will consider the renewal of the existing One Mill ad valorem funding for four years (July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2031).

Because this measure is a renewal of the existing operating millage, it continues current funding without increasing tax rates. Revenues are strictly dedicated to two operational priorities:

School Safety: Funding law enforcement contracts for campus officers.

Employee Compensation: Providing competitive pay to retain and attract quality teachers and support staff.

All expenditures are subject to review by an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee. Visit oneclay.net/renewal for more information.

Beyond the canvas, beyond the stage, and beyond the screen, our Gators are learning by creating. 🎨🎶💻

From sketching and design to band rehearsal and hands-on technology skills like learning to safely use an X-Acto knife, students are building creativity, precision, problem-solving skills, and confidence along the way.

The arts and creative courses give students more than a finished project or performance. They give them opportunities to experiment, practice, collaborate, and turn an idea into something real.

Different tools. Different talents. One creative campus. 🐊

📜 “We the People…”

Today we celebrate Constitution Day by recognizing the document that helped shape our nation and the rights and responsibilities that come with being a citizen.

Across campus, students are building their civic literacy by learning how our government works, examining the principles found in the Constitution, and discussing what it means to be an informed and engaged member of our community.

Because understanding our government isn’t just something students need for a test, it’s knowledge they can carry with them for life. 🇺🇸🐊

❤️ Help us celebrate Constitution Day and the next generation of informed citizens!

Today, September 17th, we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787—the foundation of our nation’s freedoms, rights, and democracy.

As part of American Founders' Month, students across Clay County District Schools are diving into civics and history lessons to learn how our government works and what it means to be an active, informed citizen. ❤️🤍💙

Help us celebrate today! Parents and guardians, ask your students what they learned about the Constitution in school today!

❤️🤍💙 9/11 Heroes’ Day | National Day of Remembrance 🕊️

Today, September 11th, Clay County District Schools pauses to honor the lives lost, the courageous first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless heroes whose bravery shone on one of our nation’s darkest days.

On this National Day of Remembrance, our students and staff reflect on the selflessness, unity, and resilience that defined our country following September 11, 2001. Through meaningful classroom reflection and age-appropriate civics lessons, we ensure that the legacy of these heroes inspires the next generation.

Today, we invite our Clay County community to join us in taking a moment of quiet reflection to honor those we lost and thank the local heroes who keep us safe every day.

We will never forget. ❤️
