Sometimes you just have to keep your principal on his toes. 😂🐊
Yesterday, our staff participated in a very important team-building activity: randomly handing Mr.James completely unnecessary items with absolutely no explanation.
A roll of paper towels. Random toys. Sunglasses. Decorations. Mystery objects. The collection just kept growing.
The rules were simple:
Walk up.
Hand him something random.
Smile.
Walk away.
Explain NOTHING.
And somehow, he was a remarkably good sport about the whole thing. 😂
Because even during a busy testing week, there’s always room for a little laughter, a little school-family fun, and apparently… a desk full of things nobody wanted anymore.
Thanks for being such a good sport, Mr. James

School is more than classrooms and assignments. It’s the teacher who takes the time to help, the friends who make you laugh, the group that pulls you in, and the little moments that make Lakeside feel like your place.
Showing up means being part of something. Every day, our Gators are learning, connecting, supporting one another, and building memories together.
Come for the learning. Stay for the people. 💚 #GatorsCHOMP
