More VPK fun!

Our VPK Lakers are having fun learning in many new ways!

5th grade worked through the scientific method to answer the question, " What makes an effervescing tablet dissolve faster?" We had lots of fun and learned several lessons.

This week in Ms. Reyes’ Pre-K we had a wonderful time filled with color, creativity, and lots of fun!
Mrs. Fulford and Ms. Clark's students measured using cubits, palms, and digits.

K–3rd grade students practiced hand-eye coordination using various equipment to build their skills.

The students collaborated to complete various fitness exercises, showing that teamwork truly makes the dream work!

Reminder! There is No School on Monday, September 1st.

Mrs. Baker’s 6th graders are reviewing for their math tests by playing octoball! If they get the question correct, they get to throw an octopus for a chance at extra points!

Our first chorus rehearsal is tomorrow afternoon! Any student that has not already returned an Extracurricular Permission form will not be allowed to stay for rehearsal. A copy of this form can be found in the LES Chorus Room (materials folder). Please access this room through the OneClay app on your device!

Today our 5th graders explored science tools at stations throughout our classroom. We practiced using stopwatch, balance scales, thermometers, spring scales, tape measures, rulers, graduated cylinders, and a microscope. We had so much fun and look forward to using these tools a lot this year.
