Our students got a first-person encounter of history, monuments, and the amazing work behind the scenes of our nation’s most iconic sites.
From funny White House stories to the Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and even refurbishing historic swords—Mr. Myers brought it all to life!
We explored the Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, Ford’s Theatre, Peterson House, Veterans Wall, Cherry Blossoms, and so much more!

Mrs. Lockman’s Explorers virtually traveled to the stunning Bryce Canyon National Park to uncover how nature’s forces shape our world! They investigated the powerful process of ice wedging, discovering how it transforms giant plateaus into the park’s iconic hoodoos over time. As junior geologists, they became rock detectives—testing for luster, hardness, and streak to analyze mystery rocks. To top it off, each student researched their favorite rock, then designed and presented their own creative mini-presentations to showcase what they learned. A rock-solid adventure in science, research, and presentation skills!
What an incredible way to roll into the end of the year—our last Skate Night was a huge success! Thank you to all the families who came out, laced up, and made it such a fun and memorable evening. From the music to the moves, the energy was amazing! We’re so grateful for your support and school spirit. Until next time—keep on rollin’!

Mrs. Lockman’s Explorers virtually traveled to Grand Canyon National Park and uncovered the powerful forces that shape our land! They modeled weathering using flowing rivers, wind erosion with straws, and even simulated hail impact—all to see how the Grand Canyon was carved over time. Science got messy, hands-on, and seriously fun!
