Our 4th graders turned into mini-geologists for their on-site field trip! They put their knowledge of rock and mineral identification to the test while mining for their very own gem collections.
There’s nothing like seeing academic skills come to life with a little dirt and a lot of discovery. It was a sparkling day of hands-on learning!

2+ Miles: Students living 2 or more miles from school qualify for transportation.

Dizzy Waiter: There was a lot of spinning and even more laughing as students tried to balance their trays!
Sponge Relay: The perfect way to beat the heat even though we think more water ended up on the students than in the buckets!
Popsicle Relaxation: After all that running, nothing beat cooling down with a sweet treat and some shade.
