Clay County District Schools is kicking off Virtual Parent Academy, a series of free, live virtual sessions to help families with tips, tools, and resources that support student success.

This month, we are thrilled to recognize Mrs. Vigue as the Farm Bureau's Staff Member of the Month. Mrs. Vigue has been an invaluable asset to Fleming Island High School. She provides exceptional support for our students, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to succeed. She not only provides strong, standards based, interactive and engaging lessons in her Intensive Reading classes, but she actively pushes into other classes supporting ALL students in the gen ed setting. She collaborates with her colleagues to come up with ways to best support our students and tries hard to assist teachers with ways in which they can support their students in the classroom.She is a true advocate for all students. Wheel O' Fun Friday! We LOVE celebrating our students for positive behavior! Students who received Saw ya Soarin' cards from their teachers for demonstrating quality character were entered in a drawing to spin the monthly Wheel O Fun to win Zaxby's, Chick Fil A, Candy, Popcorn Buckets, Athletic Passes and even a Free Yearbook! We have awesome students at FIHS and enjoy rewarding them for doing the right thing! Keep it up!
