Second Grade is learning about weather patterns. We used text features from informational texts to understand how storms form and wanted to investigate how tornadoes form. Then we made tornadoes in bottles.

We talked about the choices Jonah made, what we can learn from them, and how we’re cared for even when we make mistakes.
After our discussion, everyone made a fun whale craft to help remember the story. Lots of creativity, great conversation, and a good reminder that we’re always learning and growing.
