Ridgeview High School

Ridgeview and Middleburg CNA students recently completed their Orientation training today at Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay. During the visit, students were introduced to members of the medical staff and toured various hospital departments. Throughout the semester, CNA students will have the opportunity to be paired with a patient care technician and assist in providing direct patient care, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the healthcare field. #PanthersRISE

Ms. Yancey’s World History students recently prepared Google Slides presentations to showcase their learning while strengthening technology skills. With guidance from their Instructional Assistant, Ms. Brown, students became more confident in designing slides, and the best part was watching them teach and learn from one another. #PanthersRISE

Our AP and IB Biology students recently dove into a lab investigating how catalysts impact reaction rates. Working in groups, they measured, mixed, and observed changes in their reactions, applying classroom knowledge to a real-world experiment. This activity challenged students to think critically, record precise data, and analyze how catalysts influence the speed of chemical reactions—rigorous skills that build a strong foundation for future science learning. #PanthersRISE

Last week, students in Ms. Sensenich’s class learned all about lizards and geckos before bringing their new knowledge to life through art! With focus and creativity, they worked step by step to design their own colorful creations. This activity allowed students to connect science and art while practicing important skills such as following directions, building fine motor strength, and expressing ideas in a hands-on way. #PanthersRISE

Mr. Suarez’s HVAC students put their knowledge to the test this week in their classroom lab at different hands-on learning stations. Using the skills and information they’ve been building, they worked together to troubleshoot and solve real-world scenarios. Panther technicians in the making. #PanthersRISE

RISE Scholar Spotlight - Integrity

This past Friday, our yearbook staff attended the Varsity workshop, diving into new skills in photography, creative spread design, and the power of telling stories through people. We’re already putting these ideas to work and can’t wait to give you a first look at the 2026 yearbook! 🐾💙

Our Transition Works! students are off to a strong start with their first Kitchen Rotation Crew at Doctors Inlet Elementary! As part of their employment training, students are gaining valuable real-world skills by preparing food, sorting, organizing, counting, and working as a team. From washing apples to portioning fruit cups, they are building independence, confidence, and workplace readiness while making a meaningful contribution. We are so proud of the effort and pride they bring to this program each day! #PanthersRISE

Mrs. Derousie’s Honors Biology students recently put their scientific skills to the test as they explored the microscopic world. Using microscopes, they carefully observed plant and bacterial cells and estimated their sizes, applying what they’ve learned in class to a real, hands-on investigation. This activity not only strengthened their understanding of cell structures but also provided them with valuable practice in measurement and analysis, key skills for future laboratory work. #PanthersRISE

RISE Scholar Spotlight - Spirit

Panther Pals kicked off their first meeting with lots of dancing, laughter, and new friendships! It was a fantastic start to building a fun and inclusive community. Inclusivity rocks! #PanthersRISE

Our English Language Learner students had a blast reviewing “WH” questions; the kinds of questions that start with words like who, what, when, where, and why. Using a board game, students practiced creating and answering these questions as their game pieces landed on different prompts. The activity pushed students to think critically, build vocabulary, discuss their answers in English, and finally write them in complete sentences. #PanthersRISE

Ms. Michaels' 11th-grade ELA students dug deep into Act 1 of The Crucible! Working in pairs, they explored character motives, rhetorical strategies, and conflicts while backing up their analysis with direct textual evidence. This rigorous activity challenged students to think critically and connect their learning to bigger themes. #PanthersRISE
