Mr. Ley’s IB Digital Society students dove into some big-picture thinking during a collaborative networking project. Teams analyzed a country’s real-world challenge, designed an effective network model, and examined the potential positive and negative externalities of their solutions. Most importantly, students pushed their thinking further by discussing the ethical implications tied to the digital divide and equitable access, showing how technology decisions can shape opportunity, fairness, and society as a whole. #PanthersRISE

We are proud to recognize Gabriel Reagan for being selected as a Clay Electric Youth Tour representative! Earlier in February, Gabriel joined high school juniors from across Florida in Tallahassee, where he toured the Capitol, met with state lawmakers, and participated in a mock debate and vote. This opportunity, provided through Clay Electric Cooperative, gave Gabriel a hands-on look at civic leadership and the legislative process. Congratulations to Gabriel on representing our school so well! #PanthersRISE

Mr. Bruchak and his carpentry students have been hard at work, showcasing their craftsmanship and teamwork as they continue building quality projects for our campus. From precise measurements to safe use of tools to strong construction techniques, students are applying real-world skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Hands-on learning like this is what Career & Technical Education is all about: creating, problem-solving, and taking pride in a job well done. Great work by Mr. Bruchak and our talented student builders! #PanthersRISE

Ms. Fortner’s Pre-IB/AICE chemistry students wrapped up their stoichiometry unit with a fun (and tasty!) S’mores Stoichiometry Lab. After weeks of tackling grams, moles, and atom conversions, students put their math skills to work by determining limiting and excess reactants in a real-world scenario, making the perfect s’more! This hands-on lab brought complex calculations to life and was a well-earned treat for powering through a month of chemistry math. Learning is always better when it’s meaningful… and delicious! #PanthersRISE

We are so proud to celebrate Josie Choulat, a 10th-grade AICE student, who is representing Ridgeview High School on a national stage this week! Higher Orbits selected Josie to serve on a student panel at the 12th Annual Space Traffic Management Conference held at the University of Texas at Austin.
This two-day interdisciplinary conference brings together experts from around the world to explore critical topics related to space traffic, including operations, the space economy, and the protection of space ecosystems to ensure safe access to and return from space. Josie is one of only two high school students selected to speak alongside college students, sharing her STEM experiences and perspectives on space-related issues that matter to today’s students. In addition to presenting, she is networking with researchers, professionals, and leaders in the field.
What an incredible honor and opportunity - way to go, Josie! 🚀💙🐾

As a Purple Star School, Ridgeview had the opportunity to select a teacher to participate in the Purple Star Teacher Leadership Program, and we are proud to recognize Ms. Weaver for representing our school. Ms. Weaver recently completed the first part of the training and shared that it was one of the most impactful professional learning experiences of her career.
The program brings together educators, veterans, and ROTC instructors from across Florida and focuses on mentoring, coaching, and supporting teachers transitioning into the profession, especially those with military backgrounds. Clay County was well represented, and the collaboration and shared commitment to serving military families made this experience both meaningful and inspiring.
We are grateful for Ms. Weaver’s leadership and dedication as we continue to strengthen our support for military-connected students and families at Ridgeview. #PanthersRISE

We are proud to share that we were officially recognized as a Florida Purple Star Campus at the February 5th School Board meeting. This designation honors schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting military-connected students and families through dedicated points of contact, staff training, student transition supports, and family-friendly resources. Being named a Purple Star Campus reflects the intentional work of our staff to ensure military students feel welcomed, supported, and connected from the moment they arrive. We are honored to serve those who serve our country and grateful to the State of Florida and our School Board for recognizing this important work. #PanthersRISE

Students in Mr. Smith’s AICE History class engaged in a rigorous DBQ lesson analyzing primary source documents related to the Anschluss. Working collaboratively, students evaluated sources' perspectives and reliability, discussed whether the evidence supported or challenged the prompt, and built on one another’s thinking to refine their thesis statements. Through purposeful academic discourse, students questioned interpretations, strengthened arguments, and demonstrated their ability to defend claims with evidence, key skills for success in AICE History. This lesson highlighted strong student ownership of learning and the high level of historical reasoning our students are developing every day at Ridgeview. #PanthersRISE

Happy School Resource Officer Day! Today, we proudly recognize Deputy Toblin, who serves our Ridgeview community with dedication, care, and professionalism every single day. Although School Resource Officer Day falls on Sunday, we made sure to honor Deputy Toblin this past Friday so our students and staff could celebrate him in person.
Deputy Toblin is so much more than a uniform on campus; he is a trusted mentor, a positive presence, and a strong advocate for student safety and well-being. We are incredibly grateful for the relationships he builds, the calm leadership he provides, and the way he consistently shows up for our Panthers. Thank you, Deputy Toblin, for all you do for Ridgeview High School! #PanthersRISE #CCSO

Behind the uniform, our School Resource Officers are a vital part of the daily heartbeat of our schools. 💙
On this National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, we aren’t just celebrating safety—we’re celebrating the mentors who guide our students, the friendly faces who greet them every morning, and the leaders who aren't afraid to get a little chalk on their hands decorating the sidewalks.
From jumping into selfies to providing a listening ear, our SROs build bridges of trust and friendship across OneClay.
Thank you for your dedication, your heart, and your service to our school community!
