Clay County District Schools is proud to be a community that supports our military families! 💜

April is the Month of the Military Child, and we invite all students, staff, and families to "Purple Up!" on Wednesday, April 15th.

Why purple? It’s the color that symbolizes all branches of the military coming together—a blend of Army green, Marine Corps red, and Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard blue. By wearing purple, we show our military-connected students that we appreciate their strength, sacrifices, and resilience.

Let’s turn our hallways and classrooms into a sea of purple on April 15th!

There’s no better time to connect with our families and neighbors than under the lights of the Clay County Agricultural Fair. We are so proud to be part of this community, and we’d love for you to drop by Booth #12 (just outside the Exhibit Hall) to say hello!

Beyond the fun and games, we’re helping you get ahead of the curve for the upcoming school year. Our team is on-site and ready to:

📝 Register your student for the new school year.

🚌 Sign up for bus transportation.

💬 Answer any questions you have about our school district.

Whether you're there for the high-speed rides or you're on a mission to find the best corn dogs and deep-fried treats, make sure to swing by and snap a photo with our #OneClay frame! It’s a great chance to check a few things off your back-to-school list early so you can get back to the funnel cakes. 🍦

See you at the Midway! 🎡🐄🍿
