Another shining star here at Oakleaf Village Elementary!

To culminate our unit on proper and common nouns, Mrs. Hellman’s students created their own "Noun Town," a collaborative, colorful display filled with labeled places, people, and things. Students had so much fun with this activity, which allowed them to apply their understanding by identifying and categorizing nouns throughout their imaginative town.

Stars all around!

We are excited to share that Ms. Godfrey is our new School Related Employee of the Year! We are lucky to have you!

Our Amazing Oak Tree Adventure!
Guess what we did today? We became tree detectives! 🕵️♀️🕵️♂️
We went outside to visit our school's big, beautiful oak tree. Did you know oak trees are super special? They grow from tiny little seeds called acorns!
First, we looked up at all the green leaves and strong branches. We talked about how tall and old our oak tree is. It provides shade and a home to many small creatures!
Next, it was time for our treasure hunt! We searched on the ground around the tree and found so many acorns! Isn't that amazing? We had a great time being nature explorers today. We will keep learning more about our wonderful oak trees!
