Clay County District Schools is proud to present the 36th Annual Clay County Student Art Show at the Thrasher-Horne Center this Friday and Saturday!
Come and explore incredible artwork from our talented elementary and secondary students. There's something for everyone to enjoy!

-Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Stunning displays of elementary and secondary student artwork
- A fun and engaging Family Engagement Room
- Witness a Live Muralist in action (Friday only!)
- Explore future possibilities at our Fine Arts College and Career Event (Saturday only!)

- Celebrate our secondary artists at the Art Show Awards Presentation (Friday only!)

This visually stunning event features student artwork from CCDS students ranging from elementary through graduating seniors. Galleries are open 4-8pm on Friday and 10-4pm on Saturday. There are plenty of engaging activities and exhibits around the show for the whole family to check out!

Today was THE BEST DAY! Our 2nd grade classes created monster drawings in art. 2 classes were selected and Oakleaf High School ceramic students recreated their drawings in clay! The secret has been kept for months and today Mrs. Laberis and some of her ceramic students came to OVE to present them to those classes. The kids flipped out! They were so excited! Such an amazing opportunity to collaborate with the high school. Another cool part-3 students were former OVE students- from 6 years ago! ❤️
Teacher Appreciation Week was MAGICAL @ OVE!
Some of our classes got the chance to participate in the Cummer Museum Arts4All Virtual Field Trip. All activities and materials were prepared by the staff at the Cummer Museum in Jacksonville. Students were able to view parts of the museum, the gardens, and enjoy music presentations virtually. They were able to create mandala mosaics and a watercolor project inspired by the short story The Dot. We are very thankful for this opportunity each year to share with our students!
So proud of these students for earning a spot in the Explorer 200 Club at OVE! Good job being 🌟STAR 🌟students, not just in your classrooms, but throughout our campus! You're doing great things!! 🤩
