OVE is getting ready to celebrate Veterans Day. Please share your Veteran photos with us. Please email them to ashley.pendleton@myoneclay.net. All pictures are due on Oct. 27th. Thank you for your help and service!

🏀 Congratulations to the OVE basketball team for their win this morning! 🏀 We also loved seeing the OVE Cheer Team out there! Looking sharp teams!!

This week, some of our Littlest Explorers had a chance to meet a variety of Community Helpers! Each day, we saw a different type of vehicle or met a helper. From firefighters to garbage collectors - it was so much fun to learn about those in our community who help keep us healthy, safe, and happy!

This week, Ms.Sloan's class concentrated on opinion writing. Following three days of diligently working through the writing process, each student received a special (a pencil with a bell on top of the eraser) to write their final draft.

Join us on October 22nd in wearing orange for National Bullying Prevention Month. 🧡

📸 Say Cheese—Again! Picture Retake Day is October 28th!
If your child missed the first picture day or is new to OVE, this is their chance to shine! 🌟
If you purchased pictures but aren’t happy with them, just return the picture packet and let your child’s teacher know they’ll be doing a retake on October 28th.
We can’t wait to see those smiles! 💙

Congratulations to our August and September Students of the Month! These students were recognized for the trait of Community - for building a sense of belonging, ownership, and collaboration in their classroom!

Overtime Athletics Session 2

Mrs. Addie’s preK class explored 2D shapes this week.

This week in our classroom... 🧑🚒👩⚕️👮♂️
We had so much fun exploring our Dress-Up Center with a special theme: Community Helpers! 👷♀️🚒💼
The children loved pretending to be doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, and more. Through imaginative play, they learned about the important roles these helpers have in our neighborhoods — all while building social skills, vocabulary, and teamwork.
Ask your child who they dressed up as — you might be surprised by their big dreams! 😊

Third-grade students in Ms. Cascante’s math class had a great time estimating and weighing various classroom objects, learning about grams as a unit of measurement.

Pre-K is learning about triangles. Look at our smart Explorers!
