Mrs. Reid's Kindergarten class has been learning all about the parts of a plant and how plants grow and change. Students planted lima beans in their greenhouse and are excited to watch them grow! They also created a fun flower craft while practicing counting to 100 by 10s.

In PE class, all students are learning throwing, catching and striking skills with and without equipment. They moved through three center rotations. One rotation is hitting various size balls off of a tee using a soft bat (3-5) or pool noodles (k-2). The next is using proper form to throw a foam ball to a partner without equipment. The last rotation is using a foam baseball and a glove to catch and throw using the correct form. In this rotation, many students are using a baseball glove for the first time and learning which hand to place it on. Way to go Explorers!
