✔️ Athletes must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
✔️ A current athletic clearance is required before tryouts begin
🚨 Deadline: Athletic clearance must be completed before April 28th — no exceptions!

OVE was represented well at the 2026 math field day for Clay County School District. We had several gold, silver and bronze winners and got to celebrate some of our former students who have now moved to sixth grade at the junior high. Congratulations to all of our participants and coaches. Thank you for representing our school in such a positive manner.

Mrs. Pendleton’s 2nd graders dove into a fun and exciting buoyancy experiment! Students explored what sinks and what floats, making predictions and testing their ideas like real scientists.
Our Littlest Explorers are preparing for kindergarten. This week, they visited a kindergarten class and practiced eating in the cafeteria. They also got to me, JP, the school dog, as an added surprise. We are so proud of their growth this year!

Clay County District Schools is excited to offer our VPK Summer Bridge Program, designed to help students build the skills they need for a strong start in kindergarten!

Reconnect with former teachers, take photos, and get cheered on by the next generation of graduates!

🎓 Attire: You MUST wear your cap and gown to participate.
🗓️ When: Only at designated dates and times set by each elementary school.
✅ Action Item: Coordinate with your high school Senior Sponsors to confirm your participation!

🏢 District Offices: Please note that our administrative offices will remain open for normal business hours tomorrow.
