📸 Say Cheese—Again! Picture Retake Day is October 28th!
If your child missed the first picture day or is new to OVE, this is their chance to shine! 🌟
If you purchased pictures but aren’t happy with them, just return the picture packet and let your child’s teacher know they’ll be doing a retake on October 28th.
We can’t wait to see those smiles! 💙

Congratulations to our August and September Students of the Month! These students were recognized for the trait of Community - for building a sense of belonging, ownership, and collaboration in their classroom!

Overtime Athletics Session 2

Mrs. Addie’s preK class explored 2D shapes this week.

This week in our classroom... 🧑🚒👩⚕️👮♂️
We had so much fun exploring our Dress-Up Center with a special theme: Community Helpers! 👷♀️🚒💼
The children loved pretending to be doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, and more. Through imaginative play, they learned about the important roles these helpers have in our neighborhoods — all while building social skills, vocabulary, and teamwork.
Ask your child who they dressed up as — you might be surprised by their big dreams! 😊

Third-grade students in Ms. Cascante’s math class had a great time estimating and weighing various classroom objects, learning about grams as a unit of measurement.

Pre-K is learning about triangles. Look at our smart Explorers!

Another shining star here at Oakleaf Village Elementary!

To culminate our unit on proper and common nouns, Mrs. Hellman’s students created their own "Noun Town," a collaborative, colorful display filled with labeled places, people, and things. Students had so much fun with this activity, which allowed them to apply their understanding by identifying and categorizing nouns throughout their imaginative town.

Stars all around!

We are excited to share that Ms. Godfrey is our new School Related Employee of the Year! We are lucky to have you!
