🦌✨ Pre-K Reindeer Day was deer-lightful! ✨🦌

Good afternoon OVE Parents. Please find this week's December to Remember daily themes attached.
Also, as a reminder, Friday December 19th is an early dismissal day. Students will be released at 11:42am.

For Fun Friday, students in Mrs. Reid's class used shaving cream to write and draw CVC words!

This week pre-K was learning about the gingerbread man and reading all different types of gingerbread books. Gingerbread man ran away, and we had to chase him. Then he left us a sweet treat of gingerbread cookies.

Thank you to the OVE Chorus for a fantastic performance at this evening’s Cocoa and Carols event. Such a wonderful way to bring our community together! 🎄🎶

Twice the cheer, twice the holiday spirit! 🎄✨ #TeacherTwinDay

Parents and guardians in Ms. Sloan’s 2nd-grade class helped spread holiday cheer by writing heartfelt letters to their children. Throughout the day, each student waited with excitement and joy, eager to receive and read their special note.

Some stars hanging around our school!!

OVE was honored to participate in Oakleaf High School’s 4th Annual Fine Arts Showcase again last night. It was a great night celebrating the arts in Oakleaf and seeing all the talented students in art, band, chorus, and theatre.

Congratulations to all of our 5th graders who participated in the spelling bee this morning! You all did a fantastic job, and we are so proud of your hard work and dedication! We found our representative who will go on to compete in the county spelling bee.

🎄Mrs. Simmons had a festive team helping get the front office Christmas tree! 🎄It looks amazing!
