It's time to pay off on all of our hard work this year and LOCK IN for state testing!! Attendance is the greatest predictor of a student's success.
State Testing Information:
For the week of May 4th students will follow the normal 1-6 period schedule on Monday , Tuesday and Friday. On Wednesday students in 1st period classes of 9/10th grade English. BIO, ALG, US H or GEO will take their state assessment. BIO, US H, ALG and GEO account for 30% of students' final grade in the class. Please encourage your students to take their time and answer each question to the best of their abilities. On Thursday students in 2nd period classes of 9/10th grade English, BIO, ALG, US H or GEO will take their state assessment.
-Weds 5/6 Block Day 1st Period Tests 7:20-10:55am , 2nd: 11-12:35, 3rd: 12:40-1:20pm
-Thursday 5/7 Block Day 2nd Period Tests 7:20-10:55am , 3rd: 11-12:35, 4th: 12:40-1:20pm
AP Testing:
AP exams start next week.
If your student is taking an AP exam, please make sure they know the following:
1. Students need to know their BlueBook login. It is the same are their collegeboard login (the login the used to take the PSAT and SAT)
2. Students are not to have any electronic or recording devices. If they are going to bring their phone, they must give it to their proctor prior to starting the test.
3. No hoodies or face coverings. If they show up wearing a hoodie, we will require them to change before entering the testing room.
4. Students must report to the courtyard outside of the media center at designated times.
If they are taking an 8 a.m. test, they must be in the courtyard no later than 7:45. If they are taking a 12 p.m. test, they must report to the courtyard no later than 11:45
5. If your students missed their exam date, there are no opportunities for make-up exams.
