Mrs. Alt's AICE general paper students were in small groups, dissecting the text to determine persuasive appeals, logical fallacies, and overall persuasive rhetoric used. #HorsePower

Looking for a meaningful way to observe Veterans Day? The Camp Blanding Museum is hosting a special ceremony and celebration tomorrow, November 11th.

Event Highlights:

⭐ FREE T-SHIRTS: The first 100 veterans to arrive will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt!

🍔 WWII-PRICED LUNCH: After the ceremony, they will be serving lunch with food at nostalgic WWII prices.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather and show appreciation for all who served.

Our juniors and seniors had a great time touring programs at First Coast Technical College in St. Augustine today.  They have an amazing selection of programs and great space! #HorsePower

Ms. Burrell's AICE General Paper students participated in a Socratic seminar focused on their current text. It was great to see the students guiding the discussion and sharing their opinions! #HorsePower

FCCLA participated in the District 3 Rally on Wednesday 11/5 alongside other Clay and Duval county chapters.
The members and officers, including STATE president Payton Thomas, spent the day networking, channeling their strengths and overcoming the fears in the arena of Leadership. FCCLA is running a state-wide outreach, collecting aluminum can tabs to support The Ronald McDonald House. FCCLA Florida has a goal of collecting 500,000 tabs. At the rally, Middleburg was awarded the Community Impact Award for having collected the most tabs of all local chapters in attendance, with just over 25,000 (25,342 to be exact), That's 5% of the goal for the entire state, and we're only half way through the collection!!! #HorsePower
