In August, Mrs. Lade’s senior English classes participated in a lesson called Dreams and Donuts, where students created vision boards and discussed their life goals and future plans. Now, as May arrives, those same students took part in Cupcakes and Congratulations—a celebratory activity where each senior received a personalized letter filled with compliments and heartfelt reflections, a fun senior award that matched their personality, and, of course, cupcakes. The seniors were excited to read their notes and laughed out loud at awards like “Most Likely to Fix Your Tractor and Your Mood” and “Most Likely to Ask, ‘Are We Doing Anything Today?’” What a fun way to celebrate the journey from dreams to graduation! #HorsePower
