October 19th–23rd, 2026 is National School Bus Safety Week! This year’s national theme is "Safe Rides, Everyday Heroes." 💛

Keeping our students safe on the way to and from school is a community effort. Please keep these key reminders in mind:

For Drivers: Always stop when yellow school bus lights flash red and the stop arm is extended. Slow down in school zones and eliminate all distractions.

For Students: Stay visible! Be extra cautious around the 10-foot area surrounding the bus and always stand three big steps back from the curb while waiting.

Today, Middleburg High School’s Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, in partnership with FCCLA and Middleburg Chick-Fil-A, visited Tynes Elementary and Middleburg Elementary as part of the Million Book Giveaway! Our student leaders read stories to the children, participated in partner reading activities, and donated book packets to every student in the kindergarten classes at both campuses. Through this special experience, our students helped encourage a love of reading, strengthen connections with our future Broncos, and made a positive impact in our school community. We are proud of our students for leading through service and helping build a brighter future, one book at a time!
