3rd Grade: King and Queen of Penda this week.
Mrs. Reed's students made Leprechaun traps and the Leprechaun decided to come today. He made messes everywhere and left lots of treats.

Ms. Leonard's class had fun doing literacy activities using Dr. Seuss books this week!



2nd Graders learned a fold dance from Ireland this week!




VPK had lots of fun learning rhyming words, counting, doing a scavenger hunt and using fun Dr. Seuss books with Cat in the Hat!










This week was National School Social Worker Week. Lakeside is extremely fortunate to have an amazing social worker.

Congratulations to the students who competed in the Battle of the Books this morning! It was a great battle! The first place team will compete in the regional battle at the end of the month. Wish us luck!

In science, Mrs. Bunn's students classified matter by investigating and grouping various properties.



4th grade started our study of decimals. We worked in groups exploring how to count large amounts of money.
