Winterwonderland Shop starts on Monday! Students will have two opportunities to shop this week. They can visit the shop during their Technology and Media time!

Ms. Hunt’s class is starting their study of matter by classifying matter using different physical properties.

Ms. Spencer's classes had great fun working with Carlsbad Caverns this week from building stalagmites from sand to debating the virtues and faults of increasing tourism in our National Parks, we were busy!

Makeup Picture Day is November 20th. Students who were absent on or enrolled after October 21st will be photographed. Information on how to order pictures will be sent home after.

Ms. Lee's students spent time today working collaboratively with partners to read grade-level passages and respond to text-based questions that use evidence from the text.

Mrs. Bunn's class continued our study of natural resources in Science. Friday we learned about the nonrenewable resource, popcornite. Today we learned about a renewable resource called fruitonium.

Wonderland Gift Shop will be here next week! Students will be bringing home information about the shop this afternoon!

Attention Chorus Families! Your student has received an updated chorus calendar. Please note that our rehearsals have been extending to 4:30pm!

In science, Mrs. Bunn's class started learning about Natural Resources. Our learning was centered around nonrenewable resources. The class learned all about the mineral popcornite, and how we need to use it wisely, so future generations will have some to enjoy.

Looking for a meaningful way to observe Veterans Day? The Camp Blanding Museum is hosting a special ceremony and celebration tomorrow, November 11th.

Event Highlights:

⭐ FREE T-SHIRTS: The first 100 veterans to arrive will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt!

🍔 WWII-PRICED LUNCH: After the ceremony, they will be serving lunch with food at nostalgic WWII prices.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather and show appreciation for all who served.
