Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade RAMS have officially traded their bookmarks for magnifying glasses! The media center has been left in a bit of a tumble, and it looks like some mischievous characters from the world of Dr. Seuss are to blame!
From the Cat in the Hat’s suspicious whiskers to the Grinch’s sneaky footprints, our student detectives are hard at work:
Analyzing Clues: Scouring the stacks for evidence.
Gathering Facts: Documenting the "who, what, and where" of the mess.
Cracking the Case: Using their best deductive reasoning to find the prime suspect!

Our amazing fifth graders are diving deep into the human body as they explore the structure and function of major organs. Students became young scientists by tracing the human body, carefully locating where each organ belongs, and matching every organ to its important job in keeping us alive and healthy.
From the brain controlling the body, to the lungs helping us breathe, to the heart pumping blood, students are building a strong understanding of how all body systems work together. Through hands-on investigation, discussion, and critical thinking, learning truly came to life today!

Clay County District Schools is considering three options for school start times for the 2026-2027 school year, and your feedback is essential to this decision.
In 2025, Florida law (SB 296) granted our School Board the flexibility to decide the best bell times for our community. We are currently weighing three possibilities:
Option A: Keep bell times exactly as they are now.
Option B: Elementary schools start first (7:20 AM), High Schools start last (9:40 AM).
Option C: Swap Elementary and Senior High times (High School starts at 8:30 AM).
Each option has different impacts on transportation costs, extracurriculars, and student sleep patterns. We want to know what works best for your family!
