Congratulations to 154 Clay County students for their phenomenal achievement in receiving Cambridge Learner Awards for the June 2025 exam series! These awards are a testament to the high level of success our students achieve through their hard work and the steadfast support of our dedicated educators and families. By mastering this rigorous international curriculum, these students are building a foundation for a bright and successful future.
Celebrating Our Exceptional Scholars:
1 student, Sophia J. from Fleming Island High, earned Top in the World: Awarded for achieving the highest standard mark in the entire world for an individual subject.
3 OneClay students earned the Cambridge Scholar Award with Distinction: Awarded for achieving at least three "A" grades or higher at Cambridge IGCSE or International A/AS Level.
32 OneClay students earned the Cambridge Scholar Award with Merit: Awarded for achieving at least three "B" grades or higher at Cambridge IGCSE or International A/AS Level.
118 OneClay students earned the Cambridge Scholar Award: Awarded for achieving at least three "C" grades or higher at Cambridge International A/AS Level.
These students represent the pinnacle of academic excellence, and we are honored to walk alongside them as they prepare for the incredible futures awaiting them.

Clay County District Schools is considering three options for school start times for the 2026-2027 school year, and your feedback is essential to this decision.
In 2025, Florida law (SB 296) granted our School Board the flexibility to decide the best bell times for our community. We are currently weighing three possibilities:
Option A: Keep bell times exactly as they are now.
Option B: Elementary schools start first (7:20 AM), High Schools start last (9:40 AM).
Option C: Swap Elementary and Senior High times (High School starts at 8:30 AM).
Each option has different impacts on transportation costs, extracurriculars, and student sleep patterns. We want to know what works best for your family!

CTE provides our students with excellent pathways to be career-ready the moment they graduate, all while building essential leadership skills.
