Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards
Last week, through our Community Partnership School program, one of our students got the opportunity to be a Senate Page for a week at the Florida Capitol. Erabelle was selected from a statewide application and represented our school and program with EXCELLENCE! Erabelle was elected the Rules Committee Chair where she held all of the power in whether or not her fellow senate page colleague's bills would be heard in the committee and go on to the Senate Floor for their mock legislative session. There also were opportunities to meet our elected officials and visit spaces like the Florida Supreme Court and legislative chambers. Erabelle & another CPS student in the Page program were also able to take a private golf cart tour of FSU’s campus, including getting to see the inside of the University President’s Box at Doak Campbell Stadium!

Air Innovations Student of the Week
KHHS's first week of Rise to the Challenge P³ - ended with a success. This week, students learned what it takes to be successful on their end-of-the-year assessments. By being Present and Prepared, they know they can be Proficient! There was a lot of Learning, Prepping, and Goal-making happening on campus this week. As we roll into the 2nd week, students will continue to strive to do what it takes to be prepared, we may even surprise them with some motivational swag, and rewards for the grade levels with the best attendance.

Goal Setting
Caps and Gowns have been delivered!  Herff Jones will be here to issue them to seniors on Friday, April 4th during all lunches.  Students who are not on campus at this time can sign in at the front office and pick them up in the cafeteria. If a student misses the pickup time, they may get their cap and gown from Mrs. Jackson in P29 on Monday, April 7th. Many scholarship deadlines are coming up in the next few weeks. Please check the Scholarship Newsletter, which has been emailed to all senior parents and students, for direct links and guidelines. Some scholarships do not have any applicants yet, which means thousands of dollars could go unclaimed - please encourage your student to apply! Seniors do have final exams for this semester.  They will take them in the cafeteria on May 19th, 20th & 21st and can show up between 7:20-9:00am in our cafeteria.  They will get more details from their teachers and in the Guidance Google Classroom about these. Class Night is Thursday, May 15th at 6:00pm in our KHHS cafeteria.  Students receiving awards will receive invitations to attend. However, all seniors are allowed to attend.  Each senior who submitted information will be in the slideshow.  The Baccalaureate church service is on Sunday, May 18th at Trinity Baptist Church at 3:00pm and all are welcome to attend.  Seniors must wear their cap and gown.  This is a student-led event and only lasts about 30min.  After the program there are snacks and photo opportunities. There is much more information that seniors and their parents and guardians need to keep up to date with so please be sure to keep up with important information about all senior activities on the senior information sheet and the Senior Survival Guide.  Students have access to these in their Guidance Google Classroom.  Right now 84% of our seniors are on track for graduation to be College and Career Ready.  For students who are not on track, now is the time to complete their graduation requirements with credits, GPA, and state tests.  This is an exciting time so let’s be ready!!  Have a great weekend and Go Indians!

The Keystone Heights Speech and Debate Team nominated Erabelle Conant to represent our school and team at the 2025 Florida Civics and Debate Initiative Day at the Capitol. Students with their coaches had an exciting day speaking with legislators, participating in a mock session on the House Floor of the Florida Capitol, exploring the Historic Capitol, and visiting the Florida Supreme Court. #fcdidayatthecaptiol
