On Wednesday, KHHS had the pleasure of hosting Clay County Principals for a school and classroom visit! A huge shoutout to Ms. Bain, Mrs. Trull, Ms. Hurt, and Mrs. Mobley for welcoming principals and district leadership into their classrooms. Our teachers and students were absolute rockstars, showing off the incredible instruction and hard work happening every day. We loved giving them a glimpse of:
• Interactive History: Students engaged in a fascinating "Abolitionist Gallery Walk," analyzing primary sources and biographies of heroes like Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass.
• Collaborative Math: Small-group sessions where students tackled geometry problems and solved for triangle similarities together.
• Clear Expectations: Seeing the detailed "Gallery Walk Expectations" projected on screens, keeping everyone focused and successful.
We are so proud to show off the great things happening at Keystone Heights High School!

This is the third year in a row our KHHS Band Program has sent students to State Solo and Ensemble!
1 student made a superior with distinction (memorized), 1 student made a superior, and the other 2 made excellents.
Incredible job to all four of them! These students truly show our Keystone Heights IndianStrong attributes and the Keystone Heights Band Program is reaching "new heights" everyday!

Yesterday, we had the best time hosting FFA Farm Day! The Keystone Heights FFA members welcomed the Kindergarten classes from Keystone Heights Elementary to campus for a fun day of learning all about agriculture.
Students rotated through stations where they got to meet animals, learn where their food comes from, and experience hands-on activities that showed just how important agriculture is in our everyday lives.
A big thank you to the teachers and students from Keystone Heights Elementary for visiting, and to our amazing FFA members who worked hard to plan and lead each station. We loved sharing our passion for agriculture with the next generation! #OneTribe
