Our FBLA students went behind the scenes at Keystone Heights Animal Hospital yesterday!

From learning the ropes of business operations with Dr. Blackburn to a full tour of the impressive facility, it was a visit full of real world learning opportunities!

To top it off, students donated puzzle books to Park of the Palms residents in honor of the Alzheimer’s Association. So proud of these future leaders for giving back to our community!

A small group of KHHS Digital Design students took their learning beyond the classroom Friday with a visit to the University of Florida College of the Arts. Students toured classrooms and specialized art labs, explored a wide range of artistic media and design spaces, and engaged directly with current UF students and admissions staff to learn about degree options and future career pathways. Throughout the visit, students asked thoughtful questions and began to see how their daily work in the classroom connects to real opportunities at the next level. Students also enjoyed a walking tour of the UF Swamp campus, visiting iconic locations including Marston Science Library, Malachowsky Hall for Data Science & Information Technology, Library West, Century Tower, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, and the Reitz Union. Our KH Business Education team is excited to expand these opportunities next year and is already planning additional visits to nearby college campuses, giving more students the chance to explore the many pathways available to them. #OneTribe
