Students had an egg-citing start to their day with our Green Egg Easter Egg Hunt! 💚🥚 As they arrived on campus, our admin team had hidden green eggs and a few special golden eggs throughout the school.
Lucky students who discovered a golden egg made their way to the Principal’s Care Bear prize basket for a special surprise! 🧺✨
Moments like these bring joy, excitement, and a little extra magic to our school day. We love creating fun memories for our Gators! 🐊💚

Clay County District Schools is proud to be a community that supports our military families! 💜
April is the Month of the Military Child, and we invite all students, staff, and families to "Purple Up!" on Wednesday, April 15th.
Why purple? It’s the color that symbolizes all branches of the military coming together—a blend of Army green, Marine Corps red, and Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard blue. By wearing purple, we show our military-connected students that we appreciate their strength, sacrifices, and resilience.
Let’s turn our hallways and classrooms into a sea of purple on April 15th!

We are still beaming with pride for our very own Dorothy Bailey, recently named Clay County and District Teacher of the Year! 🐊✨💚
We had the privilege of hearing her speak at the Rotary Club meeting, where she shared her powerful journey as an educator, highlighting her passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to growing greatness in every student she reaches.
Her story is a true reflection of who we are and what we believe in. At our school, we don’t just teach, we inspire, uplift, and transform. From those educating to those being educated, we are all growing and thriving together.
We are proud. We are impactful. We change lives here. We make history here… and we are history.

Yesterday we celebrated our incredible paraprofessionals, and we are so grateful for each of the 16 amazing individuals who support our campus every single day! 💚🐊
Your dedication, patience, and heart for our students do not go unnoticed. You are truly the backbone of so much of the work we do, and our school is better because of you.
To show our appreciation, we created a special snack break room for you to enjoy throughout the day, just a small token of how much we value all that you do!
Thank you for pouring into our students and our school. We appreciate you more than words can express!

🌤️📊 Learning in Action with Our Growing Gators! 🐊💚
Our amazing 3rd grade students are stepping outside the classroom to become real-world scientists and mathematicians! Over the next few days, they will observe, track, and predict the weather, collecting data and making meaningful connections across subjects.
This hands-on experience not only strengthens their understanding of math and science, but also encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and curiosity.
At our school, we believe the best learning happens when students are actively engaged and having fun while making connections to the world around them!
