Friendly Reminder for Parents of Incoming 7th Graders:
As part of Florida’s school health guidelines, all students entering 7th grade are expected to have a Tdap vaccine (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) on record before the first day of school, August 11th. If you don’t have a healthcare provider, no-cost vaccines are available for children 18 and under through the Florida Department of Health-Clay County. To make an appointment, please call 904-529-2800.

Clay County District Schools Food & Nutrition Services is excited to announce our Summer 2026 Food Service Program! From June 8th to July 31st, all children ages 18 and under can receive free, nutritious meals.
No applications are required! We have two types of meal options available Monday through Friday depending on the location:
🚗 USDA Rural Sites (Off-Site Pick-up / Grab & Go)
Parents/children can pick up a hot lunch and a cold breakfast for the next day to enjoy at home!
⏰ Time: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
📍 Locations:
• Keystone Elementary, McRae Elementary, Shadowlawn Elementary, Wilkinson Elementary
🍽️ USDA Non-Rural Sites (On-Site Consumption / Dine-In)

With approximately 13 years of teaching experience, she has dedicated her career to Exceptional Student Education (ESE), serving students in both Duval and Clay Counties. Her love of nature plays an important role in her teaching, and she enjoys incorporating it into classroom learning experiences whenever possible.

With more than 20 years of experience in primary education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to the classroom. Her teaching journey has taken her from South Florida to Atlanta and back again, providing her with a diverse range of experiences and a deep commitment to student success.
She is the proud mother of three "grown and flown" children, including her youngest, who recently graduated from training in the United States Air Force. While cheering on her children’s accomplishments, she continues to pursue her own passions for teaching, traveling, treasure hunting at thrift stores, and participating in local trivia competitions.
She is excited to join the Grove Park community as a kindergarten teacher, collaborate with colleagues, and make a positive impact on the lives of students. We are thrilled to have her as part of the GPE family and look forward to all she will bring to our school community.
