Who will be Clay County’s representatives for the 2026 Florida Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year awards?

A strong foundation in our nation’s history and a clear understanding of our civic principles are vital for every student. We are currently seeking to recognize the educators who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and high-quality instruction in these essential subjects.

Teachers, administrators, students, and parents are all encouraged to nominate an outstanding Social Studies teacher for the following district-level awards:

  • 🏫 Junior High Teacher

  • 🎓 High School Teacher

  • 🌟 Beginning Teacher (Within their first 3 years)

  • 📜 Excellence in Teaching History

Reminder: A separate form must be completed for each student attending. To help make check-in quicker, please register using the QR code before arriving. It’s time to start planning for the upcoming school year! Registering early allows our transportation team to build the safest and most efficient bus routes for all students.

How to Register (2 Quick Steps):

2+ Miles: Students living 2 or more miles from school qualify for transportation.

🛡️ IEP Students: If your child has specialized transportation through an IEP, no registration is needed. It is already taken care of!
