Clay Hill parents, we are currently experiencing severe smoke, limited visibility and extreme traffic backups in the area surrounding our school. Please be safe this morning, take your time, and be sure to wait for conditions to be safe and clear. Staff are currently doing their best to get to school safely.
Don't forget that Run/Walk is tomorrow. Please wear your tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. We will be doing indoor movement activities if we are unable to go outside due to weather.

Tomorrow is 3rd-5th grade Field Day. Please wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Students may want to bring a towel. All K-2 classes will be outside for Run/Walk in the afternoon.
Yesterday, our library was buzzing with excitement as our Battle of the Books students in grades 3–6 put their literary knowledge to the ultimate test! These reading rockstars went head-to-head, answering "trivia-style" questions about this year's Sunshine State Young Reader Award (SSYRA) book nominees.
Huge congratulations to every student who participated—your dedication to reading is inspiring! Thank you Mrs. Reed, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. LeStrange, Mrs. Leasure, Mrs. Philemon, Ms. Warren, and our yearbook photographers for all of your help with this year's event!
A special shout-out to our school champions, [Insert Name Here]! They’ll be moving on to represent us at the Regional Competition at Coppergate Elementary on April 7th. Let’s go!
"Pie a Teacher!" Yes, you read that right! Get ready for some whipped cream mayhem. We're hosting the ultimate "change" challenge for all the grades at CHE. Each grade will have its own collection bucket to collect as much loose change as possible. Bring in all of those pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters by tomorrow, March 12, and the winning grade will have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to PIE their teacher in the face! So, let's start filling those buckets and get ready to create some "cents" of humor.
