Mrs. Moss's first grade scientists put their senses to work during a cheesy science experiment!

Students used their sight to make observations and gather evidence during an experiment where a cheese stick was lit to look like a candle. But the real fun began when their teacher took a bite!

Using their observations and senses, students had to draw conclusions about what they were seeing and experiencing—just like real scientists do!

Hands-on experiences like this make science exciting, memorable, and meaningful. We love seeing our Bulldogs ask questions, make observations, and think like scientists!

C.H.E. Parents! We're having a Fabulous Fri-YAY here at Clay Hill, but we are monitoring the heat index and the possibility of afternoon pop-up thunderstorms. While predictions vary among weather outlets, the possibility of storms during our regular dismissal time does exist today. Please remember that when lightning is in the area, we shelter in place, and dismissal delays may result. We ask that you continue to monitor the local radar and afternoon forecast, and plan your child's afternoon transportation arrangements accordingly. Mission Accomplished, Little Bus Drivers!  The Pigeon Has Been Spotted!

​Our brand-new kindergarteners officially took over the school on the first day of school with our "The Pigeon Has to Go to School!" tour!

​Our students searched top to bottom—checking every corner of campus—to track down Mo Willems' favorite feathered friend while exploring their new home for the year.

​We are so excited for an incredible school year ahead with these brilliant new learners!
