We kicked things off with an energetic showcase from W. E. Cherry Elementary! Principal Angela Whiddon and her team shared the unique culture being built at Cherry. A highlight was a beautiful performance of "Things Change" by the WEC Chorus, led by Mr. Gary Murch. 🎶 Guests also enjoyed a vibrant gallery of student artwork curated by Ms. Kimberly Coutis and Ms. Heather Hanley. 🎨
🎭 State Thespian Honors
Clay County’s creative talent was on full display as we celebrated our State Thespians! These students were recognized for their outstanding performances and dedication to the stage—proving our performing arts programs are second to none.
🎓 National Merit Finalists
Congratulations to our National Merit Finalists! This is one of the highest academic honors in the country, recognizing the top 1% of high school seniors in the U.S. based on their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. These scholars have proven they are among the brightest in the nation, and we are incredibly proud to have them representing Clay County!

We celebrated our newest leaders who completed their Level II Principal Certification. This ensures our schools remain in expert hands. Congrats to these dedicated administrators!
