Mrs. Godwin's class invited their buddies from Ms. D'Alessio's class to work together on a science investigation. We used our 5 senses to investigate the inside and outside of the pumpkin. We counted the seeds, and then we carved the pumpkin!

25-26 Sixth Grade Cougar Band

Description:
The Green Cove Junior Sixth Grade Cougar Band is an after school class offered to all sixth grade students who are zoned for GCJ. This band is composed of beginning instrumental students who have an interest in learning a new instrument, meeting friends, and becoming acquainted with the benefits of being in an arts program.

MEETING TIMES AND DATES:
The Green Cove Junior Sixth Grade Cougar Band will meet every Monday afternoon starting November 10 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The date for this concert is May 8, 2026 at 7PM.
Our very first meeting, where we will conduct instrument fittings, will be November 3 from 6-8 PM.

Cost:
Students will be required to provide their own instrument. Our very first meeting will allow students to be "fitted" for an instrument that will allow them the most success.

Parents are welcome to join and learn the process! If you want to join, but cannot attend this night please send Ms. Pellegrini an email ASAP: Caitlyn.Pellegrini@myoneclay.net
