This Thursday, September 11th, we are encouraging all Jets to wear Red, White, and Blue in remembrance of Heroes' Day.

🚗🚙🛻 Parent Pick-Up Reminders:
-Blue hanging placards are required in order to pick up your child in the parent pick up line.
(Available for purchase in front office through MySchoolBucks.com. If you need to go in and get one during dismissal, please park in a regular parking spot and be sure to have your ID.)
-Please refrain from cell phone use once the line is moving. It's the law in the State of Florida, F.S.S. 316.306, sec 3(a)1. Your attention is paramount to the safety of all TBE scholars and employees.
-Please pull in close as we try to alleviate traffic off the surrounding roads as quickly as possible.
-Children will be loaded on the side of the car that is closest to school. Patrols are not permitted to walk your child around the vehicle.
-If your child needs help buckling or tightening their seat belts, please slowly move forward past the front cone before exiting your vehicle to assist them.
-Appropriate language only please. Inappropriate language will not be tolerated on campus.
-Tip: We have noticed that the blue side line(Thunderbolt Road entrance) is significantly longer than the grey side line (Old Hard Road entrance). If you have older children (3rd grade and up), you may want to utilize Old Hard Road to expedite your pickup. Just be sure to let your scholar know, so that they are aware to look for you on the opposite side.
Remember, above all, we are working to get your children dismissed as safely and quickly as possible. Your patience and understanding of our dismissal procedures is greatly appreciated!

Mrs. Wheeler's fourth grade class had fun with their first Social Studies Lab. They investigated documents from their Hurricane DBQ by looking at primary sources to answer the essential question: Why are hurricanes so dangerous?

Some more pics from Mrs. Gannon's class!

Mrs. Gannon's Third Grade Math and Science class are exploring science by building a prototype of a boat, making sure it floats, and adding weight to see how much weight will make their boat sink. The students used tin foil to construct their model and pennies to add weight. They had a great time making observations and recording their discoveries. Our tables were soaked, lots of giggles, and enjoyed some Moana music to give it a more ocean feel.

Second graders in Mrs. Stevens' class worked with partners to solve real-world mathematics problems. 🧠

📚✨ Mrs. Knight’s 4th graders are putting their heads together to dig deeper into reading! Today, they worked in teams to find the central idea of a passage. We love seeing them collaborate, share their thinking, and grow as readers! 💡👏

Shoutout to these SOAR award recipients! Mr. Detwyler's 5th grade homeroom received the FIRST ever whole class SOAR shoutout from Mrs. McQuain!!! 🎉 Safe choices Own our learning Achieve excellence Respect self and others

Fourth grade watched a caterpillar form a chrysalis on the palm bush and this week, after a ten day wait, they got to see the butterfly emerge!

We want to give a big thank you to CrossPointe Church! They graciously donated ten backpacks for scholars in need. We love and appreciate our community! ❤️

Ms. Cloud’s science classes used the engineering design process to collaborate and create designs to answer the question
“How can you use paper to cool off?”

Mrs. Stevens' math students showing what they know about graphing!

In Ms. Snyder’s science class, we are learning that plants and animals, including humans, have similarities and differences. This week, we are learning about the similarities and differences of hammerhead sharks and other types of sharks.
