Mrs. Madine's Kinders had a Fall Festival on Friday!! We had fun celebrating fall and Johnny Appleseed! We built towers with candy corns, measured leaves, graphed our favorite “Prize Pig”, made apple nachos, and learned a lot about Johnny Appleseed.
Attendance Matters at SPC! Any week we have our Average Daily Attendance (ADA) above 95% is a great week! Keep coming to school on time and staying all day!!!
Let's give a BIG shout out to Silas, our Safety Patrol of the Week!!! He was recognized for being very motivated to help others and he is very reliable! Way to go!!!

“Melissa consistently goes above and beyond to support students, teachers, and families. She assists with Acadience, beginning-of-the-year testing, and IEPs, advocates for students, and willingly steps in wherever needed—including covering a class without a sub on her only day without state testing and being one of the first to take on the new IEP format!”
Melissa’s willingness to jump in, advocate for our students, and support her SPC teammates is a wonderful example of what makes our Otter family so special. 🦦❤️

The Admin Team loved treating the staff to a lunch of Fried Chicken, Banana Pudding, and Sweet Tea today. The perfect treat for Dolly Day AND a post Open House night treat for staff! Thanks to everyone who made another Fri-Yay so memorable at SPC!

On November 3, Clay County voters will consider the renewal of the existing One Mill ad valorem funding for four years (July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2031).
Because this measure is a renewal of the existing operating millage, it continues current funding without increasing tax rates. Revenues are strictly dedicated to two operational priorities:
School Safety: Funding law enforcement contracts for campus officers.
Employee Compensation: Providing competitive pay to retain and attract quality teachers and support staff.
All expenditures are subject to review by an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee. Visit oneclay.net/renewal for more information.

Due to lightning in the area, we will be holding Walkers/Bikers until 30 minutes all clear. If you would like to pick up your student that is normally a Walker/Biker please come into Front Office OR join the car line and tell the caller your student is normally a Walker/Biker.
