Paterson Elementary will be carrying out health screenings in compliance with Florida Statute 381.0056. These screenings are scheduled for October 15th and 16th. If you haven't done so already, please complete the 25-26 Annual Updates and Consents packet available on your ParentVue under Online Registration to either "consent to" or "opt out" of the health screenings.

Dad Take Your Child to School Day is TOMORROW at 8 AM in the Paterson Cafeteria. Entry will be granted only to parents who have completed the registration process and are listed, so please remember that this is a pre-registered event only. To ensure a smooth experience, kindly review the map included in this post for details on entry and departure.

IMPORTANT RUN/WALK INFORMATION FOR THOSE MANATEE FAMILIES WHO ARE PARTICIPATING:
Thank you for having your child join our PES Run/Walk Club. Throughout the year, there are times that Coach Vann must reach out and give you relevant information, such as a Run/Walk cancellation due to weather. In order for you to receive this information, you MUST download the OneClay app. Please be sure that you check your settings under this app that allows you to “Receive Notifications.” This will be the only way that Coach Vann will be able to communicate directly with you. Please do this as soon as possible. There will be a "TEST" message sent on Friday, September 19th. Please check that you receive it.
The first day of Run/Walk will be on Thursday, September 25th. 👟👟👟
Come to the Book Fair! Paterson’s book fair is September 18 - 25 in the Media Center. Students will shop on their media center resource day (during media resource class). Parents, you can give your student shoppers cash or put money in the e-wallet (https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/patersonelementaryschool).
Parents can shop from 2:40 - 3:30 every day, and we are open until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25th for parent/family shopping.

If your child is a NEW student in the RUN/WALK program, it is mandatory to attend the New Student Parent Run Walk meeting this Thursday, September 18th at 3:00 PM in the Cafeteria. Students are not permitted to attend unless their parents are present at the meeting.
Additionally, ALL Kindergarten parents are required to attend this meeting.
