The 2026-2027 OneClay VPK Elementary Lottery officially opens this Sunday, February 15th! Don’t let the weekend slip away—you MUST have your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) ready to upload before you can enter the lottery. If you haven't completed Step 1 yet, today is the day!

Our students blew us away with their President Reports, showcasing weeks of hard work, research, and presentation practice. From George Washington to Eleanor Roosevelt, each student stepped into the shoes (and costumes!) of a US President or First Lady to share their legacy with the class.

🐧 The Arctic Meets the Manatees! ❄️
Our youngest Manatees in Mrs. Ellsworth’s class officially kicked off their Arctic Animal Unit this Friday, and it was "snow" much fun! The students stayed active during indoor recess with a penguin slide and then transformed into mini-scientists for a hands-on blubber experiment during science. It’s safe to say these little manatees are ready to chill with the coolest animals on Earth! 🧊🧪

We had a blast kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge at R. M. Paterson Elementary School! With help from this year’s Heart Heroes, we’re learning all about keeping our hearts healthy through movement, kindness, rest, and knowing when to ask for help.

Mrs. Nettles’ third graders got creative today, using play-dough to master fractions. From partitioning wholes into equal parts to naming those fractional units, these students are kneading their way to becoming math experts!
